Smoke detectors with audible alarms can be found in each bedroom and other smoke and heat detectors can be found at strategic positions around The Hive at 52. In the event of any one detector being activated, the alarm will sound throughout the building and the entire building will be evacuated. Fire extinguishers and emergency lighting are provided at strategic positions and along escape routes.
At The Hive at 52, we are committed to making each guest’s stay comfortable and safe. While we currently do not have a vibrating fire alarm or a hearing loop installed, we’re happy to discuss alternative safety measures to ensure our guests are alerted effectively. If you require a hearing loop, please let us know, and we will gladly look into sourcing one or accommodate any equipment you bring along. Your comfort and peace of mind are our priority, and we’re here to help.
Our fire alarm system has an audible alarm only and does not have any facility to alert those unable to hear the alarm in the event of an activation.
