Summer may have teased us briefly, but as it seems to have reverted to Autumn, we’re here to brighten your day: exploring local delights: pubs and eateries near The Hive at 52. We take pride in offering our guests honest, comfortable, no-fuss accommodation. We’re lucky to be surrounded by amazing places to eat and drink, and we’ve been sharing these gems on our social media. We covered the pubs and restaurants near us, on this occasion just those serving food and drink.

The Hanging Gate Just a stone’s throw (2 minutes) from The Hive at 52, The Hanging Gate is a quintessential village pub. It’s known for its selection of beers and ales, alongside a menu of lovely food. When the sun’s out, the beer garden is the perfect spot to relax. Inside, the cozy ambiance and roaring fires make it a great choice for cooler evenings. Plus, ask us about getting 20% off your meal!
Lara Turkish Bar & Grill Opened in November 2023, Lara Turkish Bar & Grill is our newest neighbor, just a 2-minute walk away. This spot brings the flavors of Turkey and the Mediterranean right to Weaverham. The owners’ warmth, the inviting atmosphere, and the delicious dishes make it a standout. We recommend booking ahead to ensure you get a table.
The Ring O Bells A familiar name with a fresh twist, The Ring O Bells reopened as a food pub in 2023 after a major refurbishment. Located about 5 minutes from The Hive at 52, it offers fantastic food and a great selection of beers. With three top-notch dinner spots within walking distance, you’re set for a culinary adventure!
Chapels Thai Restaurant and Take Away Chapels Thai might look unassuming from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Inside, you’ll find incredible Thai cuisine prepared by an authentic Thai chef. It’s a hidden gem that we’re sure you’ll love.
Local pubs (drink only) & those further afield
We haven’t forgotten the wet pubs (those only for a drink) and those food pubs a little further away from us. Looking ahead, we’ll be exploring the likes of The Wheatsheaf, Owleywood Recreation Club, Hazel Pear and a few more. As well as the pubs we will cover the local cafes and might move into what Northwich has to offer.
